JEE Main 2023 not postponed, Bombay HC’s next hearing on February 21

NEW DELHI: The Bombay High Court on Tuesday refused to postpone the JEE Main 2023 January session exam. The decision comes after a PIL was filed by the child rights activist Anubha Srivastava Sahai demanding the postponement of JEE Main Session 1 exam. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023.
In its decision, the court pronounced that JEE Main 2023 January session examination will not be postponed as students will get a second chance to appear for the exam and for the sake of a few candidates, lakhs of other students may suffer.
Students who are going to appear for the JEE Main 2023 exam session 1 may note that the last date to register for the examination is January 12, 2023. So if any candidate wishes to give the January session attempt must register before the deadline through the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.

How to register for JEE Main 2023 Session 1?
- Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads, “JEE(Main) 2023 Session 1 Application” under the Candidate Activity section.
- A new page would open, enter your Application No and Password.
- Now fill the JEE Main Session 1 application form 2023 and submit.
- Download the form for your future references and you may take a printout of the same.
Additional Chief Justice (ACJ) has asked the petitioner to file a rejoinder and the next hearing will take place on February 21, 2023.Source: Times of India
