The National Council of Educational and Research Training (NCERT) has deferred the NTSE exam 2022. As per an official notice released on the official website of NCERT – ncert.nic.in, the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) has been postponed until further orders.
The National Talent Search Exam was conducted under the NTS scheme, which is a centrally funded scheme. As per the official circular released, the reason for the postponement of the NTSE 2022 exam is that the Ministry of Education has not yet given its nod to conduct the examination.

The official notification reads, “The National Talent Search Scheme is a central sector scheme fully funded by Ministry of Education (MOE) Government of India (Gol). NCERT is an implementing agency for NTS scheme. The Scheme was approved till 31st March, 2021. The further implementation of the scheme in its present form has not been approved and has been stalled till further orders. This is for the information of all concerned.”

NTSE: National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship examination. NCERT conducts this examination yearly. The scholarship is awarded to those students who wish to pursue their education in the fields of Science and Social Sciences till a doctoral level – PhD.
